Catedral ski resort in Bariloche, Argentina just got their first big snowfall of the 2014 winter season. Â
They are claiming they received 25cms (nearly a foot) of new snow at the mid-mountain level. Â The forecast for the rest of the week shows high temperatures and nothing but sun. Â Hopefully, old man winter will come back to Bariloche soon.
SnowBrains’ editor Miles Clark will be living in Bariloche, Argentina this summer where he’ll be reporting daily from Catedral ski resort and the surrounding backcountry. Â
El Nino is currently forming in the Pacific Ocean and it’s rumored that it could cause a big winter in South America. Â Lets hope so.
