Bode Miller’s wife Morgan gave birth to identical twin boys on Friday, November 8th, but Olympic Gold medalist Bode played more than just a supporting role in the delivery.
The couple went public with their story publicly yesterday, explaining how their midwife was late to the birth leaving Bode, 42 to assist with the delivery of the babies instead. Not totally alone, the former Olympian had help from his former-midwife mother, he told USA Today that the experience was, “one of the more crazy things I’ve ever experienced.”
The Millers now have four sons, with the twins joining their older brothers, Edward and Easton. The couple lost their 19-month-old daughter, Emeline, in a drowning accident about a year ago while Morgan was pregnant with Easton.
