Boreal Mountain Resort will become one of the first Tahoe resorts to open when it opens early on Friday, November 11th. Its original opening date was November 14th.

Thanks to 32″ of fresh snow in the last 72 hours, the resort has a 22″base, and will be running the Cast Peak Chair and California Cruiser (if conditions allow) with access to South 40, Big Blue, and 15 terrain features.

Opening day will be a Play Forever Friday with $25 lift tickets for everyone, with lifts spinning from 10 am to 6 pm. With every purchase of a $25 Play Forever Friday Lift Ticket, the resort will donate $5 to the @hi5sfoundation to benefit the Military to the Mountains program. Stay tuned for updates, and check the website for more information on operations.

Mt Rose – Ski Tahoe, NV, in the Tahoe region will also open tomorrow, Friday, November 11th. Mammoth Mountain, CA, was the first resort in California to open, on Saturday, November 5th.
