- UPDATE: 11/14/18 0500 PST – Brighton Resort Will be First Utah Resort Open for 2018-19 Season
This Friday, 16th November, Brian Head Resort will take the bragging rights for the first resort in Utah to open for the winter. In a Facebook post over the weekend, the resort confirmed that due to favorable snowmaking conditions, they WILL be opening this week.
The southern Utah resort got a head start over some of the northern resorts when an early season storm dropped 20-24″ of snow, and temperatures stayed low enough for all that snow to stick around.
