Catedral ski resort in Bariloche, Argentina got a solid snowstorm yesterday that was enough to open them up for the season today.
They were hoping to be open on June 20th, but had to wait a bit longer for the snow to fill in enough to make things right.
Another reason they felt confident about opening today was the forecast. The forecast is showing a foot of new snow in the next 2 days.
Catedral is our favorite place to ski in South America and we’ll be reporting at least weekly from this area all summer. If you ever have any questions about Bariloche or anywhere in South America, please feel free to ask us in an email here: contact@snowbrains.com.
