A further two Colorado ski resorts have announced they will open by the end of this week, bringing the number of openings in the state to five.
Wolf Creek Ski Area, who was the first North American resort to open in 2018, said it will open on Halloween, Thursday 31st October. It will stay open until dusk and feature a haunted house.
Eldora Mountain Resort also announced that it will open on Nov. 1, its earliest in more than 20-years. This is a full two weeks ahead of schedule, one week ahead of last year and three weeks before its historic average opening day of Nov. 22.
Arapahoe Basin Ski Area was the first in North America to open, on Oct. 11, burning Keystone Resort, which opened on Oct. 12 for their earliest opening in 20 years.
Loveland Ski Area began its season on Friday.
