With an abundance of natural snow and more than 700 acres of open terrain, there’s no better way to celebrate an amazing start to the season at Copper Mountain than with an unforgettable free performance by The Strumbellas on Saturday, Dec. 1 as part of the inaugural Snowsation concert series. Festivities kick off at noon in Center Village with a variety of menu items available to sample from Copper’s newest dining outlets.

Warm up around each tent with a free progressive hot chocolate experience, where each dining outlet provides an artisan ingredient for the best crafted hot cocoa ever. To celebrate the opening of one of Copper’s newest restaurants, Downhill Duke’s, guests can take home a piece of Copper to their four-legged friends with custom dog tag engraving offered on Saturday. Also in Center Village, those 21 and older who purchase a 10 Barrel beer at either Downhill Duke’s or Ten Mile Tavern will receive a commemorative Pray for Snow candle while supplies last.

At 3 pm, the snow dances will commence with a free performance from The Strumbellas. Hot on the heels of releasing their new single, “Salvation,” the six-piece Canadian collective brings their cool tunes to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado starting with Copper Mountain.
