With an abundance of natural snow and more than 700 acres of open terrain, thereโs no better way to celebrate an amazing start to the season at Copper Mountain than with an unforgettable free performance by The Strumbellas on Saturday, Dec. 1 as part of the inaugural Snowsation concert series.ย Festivities kick off at noon in Center Village with a variety of menu items available to sample from Copperโs newest dining outlets.
Warm up around each tent with a free progressive hot chocolate experience, where each dining outlet provides an artisan ingredient for the best crafted hot cocoa ever. To celebrate the opening of one of Copperโs newest restaurants, Downhill Dukeโs, guests can take home a piece of Copper to their four-legged friends with custom dog tag engraving offered on Saturday. Also in Center Village, those 21 and older who purchase a 10 Barrel beer at either Downhill Dukeโs or Ten Mile Tavern will receive a commemorative Pray for Snow candle while supplies last.

At 3 pm, the snow dances will commence with a free performance from The Strumbellas. Hot on the heels of releasing their new single, โSalvation,โ the six-piece Canadian collective brings their cool tunes to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado starting with Copper Mountain.
Snowsation returns on Dec. 15 when Bad Suns make their way to Copper for another free performance in Center Village. Known for their blend of angsty songwriting and hook-heavy indie rock, Bad Sunsโ standout music comes to life with their newest single โAway We Go.โ
