Japan’s north isle of Hokkaido is likely the snowiest place on Earth.  Cold winds come off Siberia, pick up moisture crossing the Sea of Japan then that moisture comes down as relentless snow once it hits Hokkaido’s mountains.

Our buddies over at SnowLocals.com put this joint together while filming at Rusutsu in February and it’s enough to make you book you flight now.
