Jay Peak ski resort in Vermont gets the most snow on the East Coast.
They just got 12-16″ of new snow in the past 48 hours.
They open on Thursday.
“After some much needed product testing this morning, we are happy to report that this latest storm has left us with 12-16” of snow in the last two days, and want to know the best part? It’s still snowing, and we’re slated to net another few inches of accumulation today, and even more snow on the way before the coming weekend. Bring it on Mother Nature; we’re ready.
Speaking of being ready, opening day is still scheduled for THIS FRIDAY 11/25. First chair on The Jet Triple is slated for 9:00 AM, and lift ticket rates will be $49 for adults (ages 19+) and $39 for youth (ages 6-18). We will have only advanced terrain open for skiing and riding opening day, so plan accordingly.” – Jay Peak, VT today
