Keystone Resort, CO, Celebrates Closing Weekend with Springtastic Celebrations April 15 and 16

Join the resort for a rail jam competition on Saturday, April 15, and then close out the season on Sunday, April 16, with the resort’s annual Slush Cup for kids and adults

Sun’s out, fun’s out, and spring is in the air! To celebrate the conclusion of another fantastic winter, join us for Keystone’s Springtastic Closing Weekend. Kick off the festivities on Saturday, April 15, with the Springtastic Rail Jam Competition, where participants can ride and grind for a chance to win cash prizes, gear, and more. Participants must be ages 14 and older and encouraged to register in advance.

On Sunday, April 16, make a splash at the return of the Keystone Slush Cup, including the only kid-sized pond in town! Sink or skim for a chance to win even more prizes and glory. Helmets are required; costumes are encouraged.

Boogie down and soak up the sunshine all weekend long with gear giveaways or snag a seat in the Toyota and Helly Hansen VIP Splash Zone. Plus, chow down on snacks from Nature Valley and enjoy live music and free samplings from Kona Big Wave on Sunday for guests 21+.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Epic Promise Foundation, which supports Vail Resorts employees with emergency relief and educational scholarships. The Foundation provides over $1M annually in employee grants, with donations going directly to employees in need.

Now, through the end of the season on Sunday, April 16, Keystone Resort plans to operate all three peaks, with lifts running from 9 am to 4 pm, as weather and conditions permit. For more information about our spring operations, read our latest blog.
