It’s SNOW TIME! Buckle your boots and strap in for the ride. We are kicking off the ski and ride season at Keystone tomorrow at 9 a.m. with 40 acres of terrain and nearly 2 miles of trail!

Keystone Resort, CO, announced on its social media yesterday that they will start the lifts turning at 9 am Friday, kicking off winter 21/22.

The resort will open with 40 acres of terrain and about 2 miles of trails.

The resort is the second in Colorado to fully open for the season after Arapahoe Basin opened on Sunday. Wolf Creek was the first to open last Saturday but is currently only open on weekends.
Went about 9:30, rode the gondola up alone as there was no one waiting. Road down the one open run to Montezuma mid mountain lift, rode up got on the gondola and road back to the base area and went home. Not very busy. I hit it pretty hard and burned myself out early though and didn’t check out the trees, moguls or catch any air 🙂
