Las Lenas, Argentina Conditions Report: More Terrain Opens After 70″ of Snow

Las Lenas, Argentina received 70″ of new snow last week.

Hoy por fin abrio Caris TS. Esta ultima tormenta dejo cerca de un metro de la nieve mas rica de los Andes sudamericamos!!!

A ultima hora de la tarde se corrieron un poco las nubes dejando ver avalanchas provocadas por los pisteros… Algunasdejaron enormes depositos como se puede ver en la foto del Cerro Collar!

They finally opened Caris TS.  This last storm left about a meter (40″) of the best snow in the Andes.

In the last hours of the day, the clouds parted a bit and you could see the avalanches triggered by the patrollers.  Some of the avalanches left enormous piles of debris like you could see in the foto of Cerro Collar here.
