Las Lenas, Argentina Video Report: Proof That Wet Snow is Better Than Dry Snow

SnowBrains | | Post Tag for Conditions ReportConditions Report

Las Lenas generally has dry snow and is a rocky, sharky, ski destroying land.  Last week, they got 5 feet of wet snow.  The wet snow covered rocks, created pillows and filled things in like never before.

People who love dry snow don’t understand that wet snow can make magic happen.  If you know Las Lenas, you’ll be shocked by this video.  Those gentle cushions Adria is doing 360s off are usually bare, jagged, ski hungry stones.  Last week, wet snow turned them into jib pillows of happiness.

Just before the two minute mark, Adria skis a pillow line that is likely usually a rock pile.

There are great arguements for both wet and dry snow.  Regardless, Las Lenas just had an epic cycle due to some sticky wet snow.

We love the last air in this video.  There’s no doubt about it, Adria was absolutely charging last week.
