Left Side 360 Into Right Side 720 in the SAME Jump | Kendal Johnson Raising the Bar

SnowBrains |

While double and even triple flips have seemingly become the norm in park skiing and aerial skiing has long seen brain bending flips, no one has yet landed (nor perhaps even attempted) a spin where you completely change direction of rotation in midair.  But Kendal Johnson has raised the bar, putting down a full in left double out right, or a left side 360 backflip into a right side 720 backflip.

Mind you, this was only on the water ramps, but looks to us like Kendal took it cleanly to his feet.  This guy is one ambitious dude, taking the sport of aerial skiing in a new and pretty wild direction…and did we mention he’s only 21?  With a stomp at the water ramps, we’ll likely be seeing a lot more of this on snow in the upcoming winter.

What do you think?  Is this crazy?  Will it cross the border to park skiing in the upcoming season??
