Over a Foot of New Snow Fell in Alaska Yesterday! The Chugach Range in Alaska got over a foot of fresh snow above 5,000-feet last night in spots. The Wrangell Mountains got a healthy dose of snow as well this week. Winter has officially begun in the great state of Alaska.
