Since breaking his femur in Alaska a few years, Mac may have toned it down a bit when filming in AK… If you really believe that, you’re crazy. Well, maybe you were right, but it now appears Mac is back to his old ways of pure unadulterated charging in AK.
Check out the final air on the first line in this video. Not many people could have skied out of that. He landed in a flat spot and sucked it up perfectly. That landing would have devoured mortal skiers but only took one small bite out of Macs meniscus…
On that note, how are us hard charging freeskiers and riding going to fair when we get older? Decrepit? Hunched over? Completely lacking articular cartilage? Maybe. Is it worth it though? Maybe… We’ll just have to wait and see…
