Loveland ski area in Colorado will not be opening this weekend.
Loveland hopes to be opening for the season next week.
Arapahoe Basin ski area in Colorado (right across the street damn near) will be opening for the season on Friday, October 13th 2017. They will be open daily until closing day.
“The Loveland snowmaking crew is still hard at work making snow and our Trial Maintenance team is busy pushing snow in the snowcats. All the snow guns have been moved to the bottom of Mambo and the top of Home Run. We are getting close, but we are not ready to make an announcement on opening day yet. Loveland will not be opening this weekend, but are very optimistic on a opening day announcement sometime next week.
