Timber Ridge Ski Area in Michigan announced yesterday that they are now closed for the season.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature won this battle. Timber Ridge will be CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. Simply put, the warm wind and rain over the weekend destroyed well over half our base and left the bottom of the hill cloaked in water and slush.

We want to thank each and every person that enjoyed this winter on our slopes! MANY IMPROVEMENTS are being planned, stay tuned for updates as they develop!!!

Resort announcement

The resort opened later than usual in December due to mild winter temperatures.

Timber Ridge typically closes early to mid-March anyway and closed on 28th February in 2018, and 20th February in 2017. The latest the resort has remained open in the last ten years was 15th March in both 2015 and 2019.
