Utah has had a bit rough winter thus far in Utah. The numbers above are all for Salt Lake City, not for the high mountains.  Alta is reporting 193″ of total snowfall this winter, which is good, but it only snowed 30 inches in all of January.  It has been warm this year, though, even in the mountains and there is more on the way.
Salt Lake City is expected to hit 65ºF tomorrow.  That’s hot.  Even Alta is expecting 50ºF temps tomorrow at 9,800-feet.  That’s hot.
Alta’s forecast this week is for temps in the mid 40s all week with some snow. Â Hopefully with a lot of snow.
