Summer is fast approaching, and the tipping point has been reached—there are now more ski resorts closed than there are open. If you still want lift-served turns, you might have to travel a bit.
There are 817 ski resorts in North America, and just eleven (1.3%) remain open. Of those eleven, just seven are open daily through the week.
These are the ski resorts in North America that are open for you this week and their projected closing dates:

- Winter Park – Mary Jane only through May
- A-Basin – mid-June
California:
- Palisades Tahoe – 5/30 (weekends only after 5/1)
- Mammoth – 5/30
PNW:
- Crystal Mountain, WA – 5/30 (Fri, Sat, Sun only)
