The wait is over, winter is officially here, and with the cold temps comes Snowbasin’s Opening Day. The resort is set to open its slopes for its 83rd season this Thursday, November 30, at 9 a.m.

Skiers and Riders alike will be welcomed back to the mountain with top-to-bottom skiing from three lifts: Needles Gondola, Middle Bowl Express, and Littlecat Express. Guests will have access to nine groomed runs and the Littlecat terrain park. Overnight camping is permitted on Wednesday night and the first 100 people in line will be getting some exclusive Opening Day swag.

“Thanks to the incredible hard work of our teams, we are excited to open on Thursday for what is sure to be another brilliant season at Snowbasin,” said Davy Ratchford, General Manager of Snowbasin Resort. “Our teams have been at it both day and night to make this opening possible. Thanks to their efforts, Mother Nature’s cooler temps this last week and our best-in-class snowmaking system, we will be ready to open with three lifts on Thursday . I’m excited to welcome our amazing guests back and for them to see the many new things Snowbasin will have to offer this winter season.”
