Report from January 17, 2021
On Day #4 of the SnowBrains Powder Highway adventure woke up to 5″ of new snow at Revelstoke, BC.
I’ve skied here quite a bit over the years and I know that they underreport snowfall totals.
Not everybody knows this but Gnorm the Gnome is liar…
We zipped up to the hill and were in the gondola by about 9:30am.
It was foggy and snowing moderately up top on the Stoke Chair.
We cranked some laps to the south in powder, chowder, and trees.
We were gearing up to try the terrain to the north when the Stoke Chair stopped running.
Honestly, my knee was killing me so the chair stopping was great ๐
We skied the 5,000′ run down to the base.
The best part was slushy new snow on the long groomers down low.
Cruisy water skiing with a smile.
It snowed all day today and tomorrow should be a stellar one.
