Squaw Valley, CA may or may not be open this Saturday depending on snow and melt conditions.

Squaw will announce weather or not they will continue their amazing 2016/17 season and announce their decision on Wednesday.

“We are preparing to stay open this Saturday for skiing and riding, but it depends on snow melt and conditions. Our teams are currently out there moving snow. Our Mountain Manager will confirm if and what will open this weekend by Wednesday, so please stay tuned until then!” – Squaw Valley Facebook page on July 9th, 2017

Squaw Valley opened in November and was open daily until June 4th.  After June 4th, they were open weekends until July 4th.  Last week they were open on Saturday.

Squaw saw 728″ of snowfall this year.  

Squaw averages 450″ of snowfall per year.
