The majority of US states have a ‘stay at home’ order in place. Each individual state has been affected differently by the coronavirus pandemic, meaning some are prepared to lift their orders sooner than others. Some states never even issued official ‘stay at home’ orders.

Below is a list of states’ current expiration dates of their ‘stay at home’ orders, compiled by the Denver Channel. Dates are subject to change.

  • Alabama: April 30
  • Alaska: April 21
  • Arizona: April 30
  • Arkansas: no ‘stay at home’ order issued
  • California: no expiration date
  • Colorado: April 26
  • Connecticut: May 20
  • Delaware: May 15
  • Florida: April 30
  • Georgia: April 24
  • Hawaii: April 30
  • Idaho: May 1.
  • Illinois: April 30
  • Indiana: May 1
  • Iowa: no ‘stay at home’ order issued. State of Public Health Disaster Emergency runs through April 30
  • Kansas: May 3.
  • Kentucky: no ‘stay at home’ order issued. ‘Healthy at Home’ order runs until a corresponding state of emergency regarding COVID-19 is rescinded
  • Louisiana: April 30.
  • Maine: no ‘stay at home’ order issued. ‘Stay healthy at home’ runs through April 30
  • Maryland: no expiration date
  • Massachusetts: May 4
  • Michigan: April 30
  • Minnesota: May 4
  • Mississippi: April 27
  • Montana: April 24
  • Nebraska: no ‘stay at home’ order issued
  • Nevada: April 30
  • New Hampshire: May 4
