A record number of competitors donned their most outrageous costumes and Telemark gear at Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR), Colorado, on Sunday, March 17, for the 50th Annual Al Johnson Memorial Telemark Race. More than 200 participants climbed 660 vertical feet, then descended 1,200 feet down CBMRโ€™s legendary double-black diamond steeps.
