Valle Nevado ski resort in Chile’s upper mountain is forecast to receive 19-Feet of Snow (232 inches) in the next 4 days according to snow-forecast.com. 19-feet of snow? In 4 days? Are you kidding me? Maybe this El Nino thing really is going to happen this year in South America. Central Chile has been in a drought for the past 7 years. Maybe this will be the year that hugely aids that drought situation and makes the skiing all time. Maybe this will be the year that everyone has been waiting for. 124″ of Snow Forecast for Chile This Weekend! Wow. 124″ of snow are forecast for Valle Nevado ski resort in Chile this weekend. Valle Nevado had nothing but brown dirt and rocks until 5 days ago. Now, they’re about to get dumped on and potentially be open with terrific conditions next week. It’s been so bad in northern Chile so far this winter that no ski resorts have opened up yet.
