These jumps are badass and this guy planned them and built them all himself. Can you even imagine how much solo downtime this guy spent up there? Mt. Hood, OR Conditions Report: Still Ripping in Late August Mt. Hood is about 60 miles east of Portland, Oregon and probably has the best and most consistent summer skiing in North America. Lift tickets are $62/ day and skiing is from 7 AM-2 PM.
