Ontario, Canada Man Killed in Skydiving Accident

A Canadian man has been tragically killed in a skydiving accident in the Westlock area of Ontario, a known spot for skydiving.  Canadian police officers say the 36-year-old skydiver fell to the ground in a field near Haley Lake, according to Edmonton News. Skydiving Instructor & Student Die After Crashing To Ground with Near Lake Tahoe Yesterday

2 skydivers are dead after crashing to the ground on Thursday morning near the Minden-Tahoe Airport, NV. 43-year-old Ashlie Caceras of Lodi, Ca and 21-year-old Davide Becker of Germany are the deceased. Erik Roner Died in Lake Tahoe Skydiving Accident Today

We have learned from local sources that professional skier, professional BASE jumper, and Nitro Circus stuntman Erik Roner has died in a skydiving accident in Lake Tahoe, California today. Itโ€™s being reported that Erik was skydiving with three other skydivers including JT Holmes & Aaron McGovern. They were performing an opening act at a golf tournament in Lake Tahoe today. Erik reportedly hit a tree while traveling at high speed as he was landing his parachute. The impact reportedly killed him upon impact. Erik hung 30-feet off the ground in the tree he struck for over 30 minutes while waiting emergency crews to reach him.

Squaw Valley CEO & President Andy Wirth is back at Squaw after spending 50 days in the hospital and enduring 21 surgeries on his right arm.
