Only one ski resort in North America has broken 300″ of snowfall this winter: Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, AK. Aleyska is having a banner year and they’re on track to have a truly huge season. Alyeska averages 650″ of snowfall per season and they got 978″ of snowfall in 2011/12. They currently have a 97″ base.
6 out of 7 resorts on this list is from the West Coast of the USA. Alaska, Washington, Oregon, & California are the places getting the big snowfall numbers thus far this year.
Mt. Baker currently has a 105-137″ snowpack right now, the deepest in North America.
