USA Finishes 23/24 FIS World Cup Season With a Total of 13 Crystal Globes

It’s been a fantastic season for U.S. winter sports athletes, who are bringing home a total of 13 Crystal Globes. A Crystal Globe is awarded by the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) to the overall points winner in a discipline. There are Big Crystal Globes for the overall winner across several events in a discipline as well as Small Crystal Globes for the winners of a discipline.

Team USA athletes won Crystal Globes in the following disciplines and categories:

Big Crystal Globes:

Alex Ferreira — Overall Freeski Park & Pipe champion

Jessie Diggins — Overall Cross Country champion

Noah Elliott — Overall Para Snowboard champion (lower limb)

Brenna Huckaby — Overall Para Snowboard champion (lower limb)

Small Crystal Globes:

Alex Ferreira — Halfpipe champion

Mac Forehand — Slopestyle champion

Alex Hall — Big Air champion

Mikaela Shiffrin — Slalom champion

Jessie Diggins — Cross Country Distance

Noah Elliott — Para Banked Slalom champion (lower limb)

Peggy Martin — Para Banked Slalom champion (upper limb)

Brenna Huckaby — Para Banked Slalom champion (lower limb)

Brenna Huckaby — Para Snowboard Cross champion (lower limb)
