USA Olympic Uniforms Are Ugly:

SnowBrains |

There’s no two ways about it.  The USA Olympic Uniforms for Sochi are ugly.  These are the outfits that our athletes will be wearing at the opening ceremonies next month in Sochi, Russia.

USA uniforms modeled by: figure skater Evan Lysacek, hockey player Julie Chu, ice dancers Charlie White and Meryl Davis, and freestyle skiers Hannah Kearney and Alex Schlopy.

These new uniforms were just unveiled last week on the Today Show with Matt Lauer.

The uniforms were designed by Ralph Lauren and made in America (Ralph Lauren’s 2012 London Olympic uniforms were made in China).

In our opinion:  yeah, they aren’t great, but we’d sure as hell love to be one of the people fortunate enough to wear one.  Go team USA!

  1. clothing designers with way too much ego, and too little time in the mountains.
The athletes look like they threw on their grandmother’s sweater over their pajamas. awful.
the North Face stuff is equally sucky. Navy blue? using up their old nylon inventory?
designer/manufacturers should have a dialogue with athletes before knocking out this crap.
