This video was captured near Mount Rose Summit in Lake Tahoe, Nevada March 22. Neighboring California is currently under ‘lockdown’ with social distancing measures in place. Yet, it doesn’t seem to be working everywhere.

The executive order issued on Thursday, March 19 by California Gov. Gavin Newsom orders all California residents to stay home, except as needed for certain essential activities, Mercury News reports. There is no end date on the order stating that restrictions will be in place “until further notice,” it said. The official order is displayed below.

  1. Does Nevada have a stay-at-home policy at this time? I believe that is an important point since this portion of “Lake Tahoe, CA” is in Nevada.

    1. No, but every time I go over from Reno to Tahoe(often) I’d hazard a guess that @ 65-70% of the cars parked in the Meadows have CA plates.
