First Tracks on Blackcomb November 3rd

The first big storm of the season has come and gone, leaving our mountains with a beautiful new snow line and 35cms of fresh snow! Itching to get out and investigate, we sent Mike Douglas and Robin Van Gyn up Blackcomb with Whistler Heli-Skiing on November 3, to test the goods. More snow is in the forecast for the rest of the week.

Ya know how all the ski resorts have been sending pros up to ski and ride and get photos of their first big snowfall of the year before opening?  Yeah, Whistler invented that.  They did it again this year, and they did it in style.  Mike Douglas and our friend Robin Van Gyn heli skied Whistler on November 3rd and tore it up.

Whistler got 35-50cms of snow over the weekend and up to 54cms are forecast this week.
