Whistler got hammered with snow this weekend and temperatures are staying cold.  The mountain now has a solid natural base and their snowmaking is now running whenever possible.

Yes, Whistler now has a base that is here to stay.  Whistler Blackcomb opens for the season on November 28th, 2013.  Skiing in Whistler before Christmas is a magical event that we recommend to everyone.  No crowds, cold temperatures, and Whistler averages more snow in December than any other month.
