Winter Park Resort, CO will no longer require reservations for pass holders to access the mountain effective Monday, March 22, 2021. After evaluating visitation patterns for this season and historical skier visit data, Winter Park determined that a reservation system was no longer needed to manage visitation numbers. The resort will continue to limit other mountain access products to help manage the volume of visitors through the end of the 2020/21 winter season.

Earlier this season Winter Park Resort recognized the need to balance people’s demand for skiing, riding, and mountain adventure with the evolving state and county guidelines and restrictions. To help guests plan and know what to expect, the resort limited sales of daily lift tickets, implemented a pass holder reservation system, and launched “Shred Another Day,” a guide asking guests to do their part in safeguarding the longevity of the season. Those initiatives along with guest and employee vigilance have helped Winter Park remain open and operating this season.

“Our pass holders are incredibly important to the entire Winter Park community. They’re our most loyal fans and cheerleaders and they’ve been patient and diligent through all the twists and turns of this season. We’re grateful to our pass holders and want to recognize their dedication.”

– Sky Foulkes, president and COO of Winter Park Resort

Along with eliminating pass holder reservations, Winter Park Resort will also kick off Pass Holder Appreciation Week on April 5 to say thank you to pass holders who’ve helped the resort get through the season despite challenging circumstances. There will be exclusive pass holder deals and perks throughout the week, including $89 Friends and Family lift tickets, discounts off select gear, discounted tubing sessions, and more. Check outPass Holder Appreciation Week to learn more.

All other current policies and procedures, including wearing a mask across the resort, no indoor dining, and pre-booking all services will remain in effect through the remainder of the 2020/21 winter season. Winter Park Resort will continue to provide updates on its website, e-mails, and social media sites.
