What a season it has been! Alta Ski Area, UT yesterday surpassed 600″ of snowfall so far this season. And the season isn’t even over yet!

The latest storm dumped over a foot of ‘the greatest snow on earth‘, taking their season total to a massive 609″, that’s over 50-feet.

This season is the deepest in almost a decade. The last time the resort (who average 500″ a season) broke the 600-mark was back in 2010/11 when they reached a whopping 723.5″.

With just under a full week of riding left (and an extra weekend 26-28 April) Alta is definitely worth a visit. If you’ve got an Ikon Pass and have yet to make it out there, do it now! You won’t regret it, we’ve been skiing there throughout the season and it’s been epic.
