The snow that fell on Friday was enough to make this winter the snowiest in eight years and takes Denver within touching distance of the 79โ€ณ of winter 1991-92.

The overall record for Denver is 118.7โ€ณ that fell in 1908-09, and is the only time 100โ€ณ has been exceeded.

Another storm is heading towards the state today, but will it bring the ~5โ€ณ required to make it the snowiest winter in 29-years? The NOAA is calling for 3-5โ€ณ, so itโ€™s not impossible.
