Killington Resort, VT, Extends Season to at Least June 4th | Latest Closing in 25-Years

Killington Resort, VT, announced yesterday that the resort will be open next weekend for its latest closing weekend since 1997.

Our grooming team will be working hard to patch any weaker spots that pop up over the next few days with the goal of continuous top to bottom skiing & riding, but walking will be required to get on and off the lift. Plus, 50% of ticket proceeds will be donated to Pride Center of Vermont to mark the start of Pride Month. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈

Killington is the only US ski resort still open for skiers and riders in the east after. It has been open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, spinning the Superstar Express Quad until 5:00 pm. This weekend they will open Saturday, and Sunday if conditions allow. In 1997, the resort closed on June 22nd.

The ‘Beast of the East’ has now been operating for 191-days, has a 20″ base, and has seen 216″ of fresh snow this season.  The Bike Park opened Saturday, May 28.
