After a monumental winter bringing 723 inches of snowfall to the slopes, it is bittersweet to announce that yesterday was the last day to ski the Palisades side of Palisades Tahoe.

As of 2 pm yesterday, the Palisades side of operations is now closed to skiing and riding. Even with the fantastic snowfall, the resort cannot extend the Palisades side of operations due to scheduled maintenance on the Funtiel starting on May 30th. This also means the Aerial Tram will close on May 29th and reopen for summer sightseeing and hiking operations on weekends in June (June 16th-18th and June 23rd-25th.)

However, skiing and riding are far from over at the Spring Skiing Capital as the Alpine side will be open for skiing and riding 8 am -2 pm, Fridays – Sundays in June, and then will also be open for Freedom Fest from June 30th – July 4th.

We hope to see you on the slopes at the last ski resort open in Lake Tahoe!
