[PHOTOS] Major Storm Drops Up to 30 Inches Overnight at Mammoth Mountain, CA, Extending Spring Season Outlook

A powerful winter storm has delivered 23 to 30 inches of fresh snow Mammoth Mountain since yesterday, setting up prime conditions and likely extending the resortโ€™s spring skiing and riding season.

Resort officials are reminding guests to use extra caution during deep snow days, especially near tree wells.

Skiers and riders are urged to stay within resort boundaries, ride with a partner, and maintain visual contact at all times.

With this significant new snowfall and more in the forecast, the mountain is expecting a strong finish to the season well into spring.
