Ski patrollers at Palisades Tahoe, California, have worked hard following the recent snowfalls. Palisades Tahoe has seen 32 inches of snow in the last seven days.

Ski patrol triggered a massive, controlled avalanche on Wednesday, February 21. The pictures below emphasize why one should never duck ropes.
