Exciting news were announced today: after a long-awaited three-year hiatus, skiing, boarding and tobogganing are back at Selwyn Snow Resort, Australia. Get ready for an exhilarating winter adventure as the lifts are set to spin again at Selwyn from this Friday, June 23, 2023.

Thanks to a massive effort in snowmaking and the generosity of Mother Nature, the snow resort now boasts a fantastic coverage of snow on the ground. This sets the stage for an unforgettable experience as the resort eagerly welcomes back all snow enthusiasts.

Selwyn is an institution in Australia and many a skier or rider has learned their first turns at this iconic resort, which tragically burned down in the 2019/20 Christmas bushfires. Last year the resort was slated to reopen, but the early snowfalls in May meant that crucial electric work could not be carried out in time, and reopening plans had to be mothballed for a year.

Selwyn Snow Resort is a small family-owned and operated snow resort in New South Wales, Australia, about five hours southwest of Sydney. The resort covers 110 acres of skiable area, serviced by eight lifts. It is popular with beginners, and 88% of slopes are rated easy. However, the resort also offers a Racecourse Run, a Terrain Park, 25 miles of cross-country skiing, and a Toboggan Park.
