Solitude, UT, Will Open for 2023/24 Season Friday, November 10

November 9, 2023 (BIG COTTONWOOD CANYON, UT) — Solitude Mountain Resort will open for skiing and snowboarding with an early season stoke event for Solitude and Ikon Pass holders on Friday, November 10. Originally scheduled for November 17, this will be Solitude’s earliest opening in 10 years.Link lift is scheduled to run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with access to Easy Street this Friday through Sunday. Solitude will continue to open additional lifts and terrain as conditions allow.

“We are committed to offering the longest season possible and we know local skiers and snowboarders can’t wait to get back on the snow,” says Amber L. Broadaway, Solitude’s president & chief operating officer. “It’s been the hard work of our mountain operations team that has made this weekend possible. They have been working around the clock to maximize snowmaking efforts when conditions allow and have set us up for another amazing season.”

Lift tickets will be available for $25 this weekend. In observance of Veterans Day on Saturday, November 11th, Solitude will offer free lift tickets to all active-duty, reserve, retired, and veteran military personnel. Parking will be free for all guests this weekend, no reservations required.The resort will reopen next Friday, November 17, with the previously scheduled DJ + Donuts Opening Day Party.
