What are you doing at 3am? Probably not BASE jumping from the top of the Freedom Tower in New York City! Four men BASE Jumped off the tower on in September 2013 (East Coasters, note the lack of snow). Top 5 Deepest Snowpacks in the Pacific Northwest:

While the beginning of the season was somewhat lackluster throughout the West, things are looking up. Admittedly, Washington or Oregon didn’t have it nearly as rough as California, but it was still strange. Big storm totals in February helped push snowfall totals closer to normal levels. Snow totals are looking a little low for the season […]

The Top 10 Deepest Snowpacks in North America:

10 Deepest Snow Packs

Last week changed everything in North America. Kirkwood, CA got 112″ of snow in 7 days, Mt. The big recent storms put the Pacific Northwest back on top of the snowpack numbers game where they usually reside. What’s really shocking is that the east […]

Top 10 Deepest Snowpacks in North America:

It’s been an interesting year for snow in North America. That said, the ski resorts with the most snow in North America aren’t too different from a usual year. Alaska, Washington, and British Columbia are usually at the top of the list and this year is no exception. Everyone keeps talking about what a bad year Washington is having, but they have 100 inches of snow on the ground. How bad could it be? […]

Psychotic Stunt of the Year Award | 200-ft Motorbike Jump to BASE Jump Into River…

. . Just go to the 3:15 mark of this video and watch it.  There is no good way of describing this stunt.  It’s hard to believe that he planned on the parachute opening last minute just enough to keep him from exploding via the surface tension of the water. That someone came up with this idea at all is […]
