8,736′ Ebbetts Pass (hwy 4), CA is OPEN

8,736-foot Ebbetts Pass in California opened on April 18th, 2014, then closed for the storms last week. It reopened on Monday. We haven’t gotten any reports from Ebbetts Pass yet. We imagine that the skiing is still good up there, but the pass is slightly lower than Tioga and Sonora leading us to believe that there’s likely a bit less snow on Ebbetts, at least at pass level.
