10-17″ of Snow Forecast for Alta, UT Today Utah is about to have it’s go with the storm that just dropped up to 2-feet of snow in Lake Tahoe. What!? | 20″ of Snow Forecasted in Montana & 6″ of Snow Forecasted in Utah Today You read it right. There is a cold storm coming down from Canada and it plans on dumping 20″ of snow on Montana above 7,000-feet with snow levels as low as 5,000-feet. The leftovers of the storm will hit Utah and drop another 6″ of snow above 8,000-feet. Cool temperatures and rain will continue through Wednesday as the next weather system slowly moves through Idaho and western Montana. Snow levels will also lower to between 5000-6000 feet.
