The Tahoe Backcountry Alliance is hosting two nights of film fest awesomeness in the Bay Area, California. The film fest will also feature a raffle, drinks, and free swag as always. The film fests will be held at Sportsbasement Presidio, on Friday, December 8, 2023, and Sportsbasement Berkeley, on Saturday, December 9, 2023.
The 19th Annual Backcountry Film Festival is a celebration of the human-powered experience and a gathering place for the backcountry snowsports community. Funds raised at each screening stay in the local community to support winter recreation and conservation efforts, education and avalanche/safety programs, and to raise awareness of winter management issues.
For these events, all funds raised will benefit Tahoe Backcountry Alliance’s work as the voice for the human-powered winter backcountry community in the Lake Tahoe area, advocating for and informing their community about critical issues affecting winter backcountry recreation in and around Tahoe.
