Shirley’s Snowfield is a daunting hanging snowfield off the east face of Cody Peak in the Jackson Hole sidecountry. It’s an impressive, aesthetic line that only a few people have ever tried to ski. In this video they talk about who pioneered the line and how it got its name. Footage of Teton Brown skiing the line follows, including his decision-making to help him reach the bottom safely.
