VIDEO: 10-Seconds of Faceshots in Japan & Faceshots Poem Faceshots. Faceshots are reason why we ski and ride. Faceshots are why we donโt sleep well the night before a big powder day. Faceshots are we wait tables, bartend, ski instruct, lift operate, drive groomers, pour coffees, and avoid the real world. Faceshots are why we are here. A lot is given up for the pleasures of faceshots and itโs most certainly worth it. Faceshots feel like theyโre becoming ever more elusive. We have to wait longer, travel further, climb higher for faceshots these days it [โฆ] Featured Video Miles Clark | January 20, 2015 0 Comments
One Week in Japan | Photo Tour: These four photos represent last week in Japan. Itโs been snowing like crazy with more snow on the ground before New Years Day 2015 than we had here all of last season. We had three weeks of horribly deep snow and then it rained and got coldโฆ Damn. But it was insane while it lasted and itโll come around soon. The forecast for the next week is surprisingly dry for Japan in January. Hopefully theyโre wrong and we get right back into what you see here. [โฆ] Miles Clark | January 8, 2015 0 Comments
VIDEO: 42-Seconds of Horribly Deep Snow in Japan Today I arrived in Japan two days ago. Itโs been nuking snow, as per usual. Actually, itโs been a bit unusual. Japan just had a wild December with more snow than theyโve had in that month for over 10 years. There is more snow on the ground than there ever was at any point last season. The high snow levels of snow are translating to big pillows, groovy spines, buried bushes, and better skiing. It takes a lot of snow to tame the jungles of Japan. This video is from today โ the last day of 2014 โ December 31st, 2014 โ New Years Eve 2014. Itโs been snowing [โฆ] Conditions Report Miles Clark | December 31, 2014 3 Comments
