Detailed Las Lenas, Argentina Report: The Corn Machine is On! With rain to the top Friday night I was not eager for first chair. However, with a new week underway there was a ticket line that took about 10 minutes. Heading toward Marte on the Venus chair was another 10-minute line because the parallel poma lift broke down sometime last week (A-factor). Marte itself was not all that busy when I first boarded it a little before 10AM. The upper part of Marte shows evidence that the rain reached the top. VIDEO: “Getting Stupid in Las Lenas” – August 2015 Our buddy Dorian got stupid in Las Lenas in early August this summer. Some of these lines are, well, kinda silly. Very high penalty, tight, claustrophobic, scary, rocky, sketchy lines. That’s what this guy is into and that’s what Las Lenas delivers on a platter on powder days. Most the lines in this video were filmed right off the Marte chair. Yep, you just ride up a chairlift to get to these lines. Las Lenas is a couloir skier’s dream come true. VIDEO: Las Lenas, Argentina Spine Skiing & Hucking Yesterday One of our Las Lenas, Argenitna reporters, Adria Millan, finally got access to the big terrain in Las Lenas yesterday in decent conditions and he went off. He knows these lines as well as anyone and he sent this line full bore. The only way we know the snow wasn’t perfect is because Adria didn’t throw a 360º.
